1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TravelMate AI, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

UK Solutions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TravelMate AI for personal and lawful purposes only.

3. Description of Service

TravelMate AI provides features including:

AI-powered trip planning and itinerary generation
Packing list creation with AI suggestions
Travel expense tracking and budget management
Encrypted document vault for storing travel documents
Travel journal and memory keeping
AI travel chat assistant
Live weather information for travel destinations
Currency conversion tools
Google Maps integration for navigation and nearby places
Trip reminders and notifications
Advertisement-supported free experience

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

TravelMate AI uses artificial intelligence to generate travel recommendations, itineraries, packing suggestions, and budget advice. AI-generated content is provided for informational and planning assistance purposes only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are solely responsible for verifying travel information, booking arrangements, visa requirements, safety conditions, and any decisions made based on AI suggestions. TravelMate AI is not a licensed travel agent, financial advisor, or legal service.

5. Travel Information Accuracy

Weather forecasts, currency rates, and location data displayed in the app are sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Always verify critical travel information through official channels before making travel decisions. UK Solutions is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on in-app travel data.

6. Account and Data

TravelMate AI supports sign-in with Google to sync your travel data via Firebase.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
Trip data, itineraries, expenses, and journal entries may be stored in your personal Firebase account when signed in.
You can delete your account and associated data from the app settings at any time.
Local data (Isar database) is stored on your device and removed when you uninstall the app.

7. Document Vault

    The encrypted document vault stores sensitive travel documents locally on your device.
Documents are encrypted using AES encryption and protected by your device credentials or biometrics.
UK Solutions cannot access, recover, or restore vault contents.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of important documents.
Uninstalling the app or clearing app data permanently removes vault contents.

8. Advertisements

TravelMate AI uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your region, consent choices, and applicable laws. UK Solutions is not responsible for third-party advertisement content or external websites accessed through advertisements.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in TravelMate AI, including trip plans, journal entries, and uploaded photos. By using cloud sync, you grant UK Solutions a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the sync service. We do not use your personal travel content for advertising or third-party analytics.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the application.
Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to backend systems or other users' data.
Misuse AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws while using the app.

11. Third-Party Services

TravelMate AI integrates with third-party services including:

Google AdMob (Advertising)
Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, and Cloud Messaging
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
Google Maps Platform
Weather and currency data APIs
AI language model service

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. UK Solutions is not responsible for third-party service availability or behaviour.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TravelMate AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, accuracy of AI-generated content, or prevention of data loss.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UK Solutions shall not be liable for:

Travel losses, missed bookings, or travel decisions based on app content
Inaccurate AI-generated itineraries or recommendations
Loss of locally stored trip data or vault documents
Device failures or third-party service outages
Missed notifications or reminders
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

14. Updates and Changes

We may update TravelMate AI or these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates or in-app notices. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to TravelMate AI for users who violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie in Bangalore, Karnataka.
