Last Updated: August 2026
Your Privacy Matters
TravelMate AI is designed with privacy in mind. Your trips, itineraries, expenses,
journal entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device and optionally
synced to your personal Firebase account. The app uses Google AdMob for
advertisements and Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. Third-party providers
may collect limited device information according to their own privacy policies.
1. Introduction
UK Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TravelMate AI mobile application ("App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and protected
when you use TravelMate AI.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Your travel data is primarily stored on your device.
- Trip plans, itineraries, and travel notes
- Expense records and budget information
- Packing lists and travel documents (encrypted locally)
- Journal entries and travel memories
- Preferences such as theme, language, and display settings

If you sign in with Google, the following data may be stored in your personal Firebase

You control this data. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from

4. AI Travel Assistant
The AI chat and itinerary features send your queries to an AI service to generate
travel recommendations, packing suggestions, and budget advice. Queries are
processed to generate responses and are not used to build personal profiles.
We recommend avoiding sharing sensitive personal or financial details in AI chats.
5. Information Sent to Third Parties
TravelMate AI may send limited technical information when using app features:
- Google AdMob: Advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, diagnostic
and ad interaction data for displaying advertisements.
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage events to improve app performance and features.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash logs and device state to diagnose and fix issues.
- Firebase Remote Config: Feature flags fetched to control app behaviour.
- Google Maps: Location coordinates when you use map or nearby-places features.
- Weather / Currency APIs: Your location or selected currency codes when
fetching live data. No personal identifiers are included.
6. Location Data
TravelMate AI may request access to your device location to provide map navigation,
weather for your current location, and nearby points of interest. Location data is
used in real time and is not stored beyond your current session unless you save a
location to a trip plan.
7. Advertising (Google AdMob)
TravelMate AI displays advertisements using Google AdMob. Google and its advertising
partners may use mobile advertising identifiers or similar technologies to display ads,
measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services.
8. Permissions
Depending on your device and the features you use, the app may request:
- Internet access (sync, AI features, ads, live data)
- Location access (maps, weather, nearby places)
- Camera and photo library access (travel photos, document vault)
- Notification permission (trip reminders, alerts)

9. Notifications
TravelMate AI may request notification permission to deliver trip reminders and
packing reminders. Notifications are generated locally on your device. You can
manage or disable them at any time from your device settings.
10. Document Vault
The encrypted document vault stores travel documents (passport scans, tickets, etc.)
locally on your device using AES encryption. Documents are not uploaded to any server
unless you explicitly choose to back them up. We strongly recommend protecting your
device with a PIN or biometrics.
11. Children's Privacy
TravelMate AI is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children. Advertising and analytics providers may
process limited technical information according to their own policies.
12. Data Security
