Convertiq is designed with privacy in mind. Your preferences, favorites, recent
conversions, and rate alerts are stored locally on your device. Exchange rate
requests are made only to provide currency conversion features. The app uses
Google AdMob for advertisements and Firebase for analytics and crash reporting.
Third-party providers may collect limited device information according to their
own privacy policies.
1. Introduction
UK Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Convertiq mobile application ("App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and protected
when you use Convertiq.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Most of your data stays on your device.
- Default currencies, theme, language, and decimal precision preferences
- Favorite currencies and recent conversions
- Rate alerts and cached exchange rates
- Premium ad-free status and timing
- We do not require account registration or login
3. Information Sent to Third Parties
Convertiq may send limited technical information when using app features:
- Frankfurter API: Currency codes you select when fetching exchange rates. No personal identifiers are included.
- Google AdMob: Advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, diagnostic and ad interaction data for displaying ads.
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage events to improve app performance and features.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash logs and device state to diagnose and fix issues.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Convertiq displays advertisements using Google AdMob. Google and its advertising
partners may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, or similar technologies to
display ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services.

5. Exchange Rate Data
Exchange rates are fetched from the Frankfurter public API using European Central
Bank reference data. Requests include currency codes needed for conversion but do
not include your name, email, or other personal identifiers.
6. Notifications and Home Widget
If you create rate alerts, Convertiq may request notification permission to deliver
local alerts when target rates are reached. Home screen widget data is stored and
updated locally on your device.

Depending on your device, the app may request permissions such as:
- Internet access (exchange rates and advertisements)
- Network state access
- Notification permission (rate alerts)
8. Children's Privacy
Convertiq is not specifically directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do
not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising and analytics
providers may process limited technical information according to their own policies.
9. Data Security
- Your preferences and conversion history remain on your device.
- We recommend protecting your device using PIN, password, or biometrics.
- Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.
